Kya M. Henley is a seasoned attorney with a distinguished background in investigations, white collar, criminal defense, and complex litigation.
She began her career as a trial attorney with the Maryland Office of the Public Defender, where she developed strong courtroom advocacy skills and a commitment to justice. Kya later served as a senior associate at top-tier national law firms, representing corporate clients in high-stakes white-collar defense matters, regulatory investigations, and multi-agency enforcement actions.
Kya earned her law degree from the University of Michigan Law School and holds a B.A. in Government and Politics from the University of Maryland. While in law school, she deepened her advocacy experience through clinical work in the Juvenile Justice and Human Trafficking Clinics.
With a rare blend of public service experience, corporate law acumen, and entrepreneurial leadership, Kya offers clients strategic, responsive legal counsel during moments of legal uncertainty, whether responding to subpoenas, managing internal investigations, or navigating criminal or regulatory exposure at the state or federal level.
